The BFM wants to share a Sunday afternoon in January when I ventured to Hadskis and had a wee snack or two!!
33 Donegall Street / Commercial Court

Hadskis was the brainchild of Niall McKenna who is very quickly becoming a major player in the Belfast restaurant trade. Hadskis was named after Stewart Hadski who in the 1790’s made pots and pans.
Without further clunking and clanking, let’s tell you what I had!!!! I ordered two small plates. The first was Smoked Haddock Chowder (£5.50) which was 1cm cubed potato chunks, mussels and haddock. The second was
Orecchiette pasta c spiced sausage (£5.50). The pasta pieces were
smaller than 10p concave circles, in a tomato sauce.
To wash it all down I had cucumber infused water, very refreshing. The plates came out together and after 20 mins, so they were cooked from fresh. They both tasted exceptional and I was impressed with the portion size. Service was prompt and the restaurant decor was impeccable, it’s quite deceptive from outside,as it’s long and thin. Well done all the guys at Hadskis!!!
Once again the BFM shares the food love!!! Ciao down now!!!
