I also received a great little recipe booklet. There are many wonderful dishes, but as a keen fan of Indian food I made a mushroom bhaji.
Now this was for presentation purpose. The mushrooms I used were the brown mushrooms. I fried a whole diced onion with 3 cloves of garlic and 1/4 inch ginger,5 green chillies, along with 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric, 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 2 teaspoons of garam masala, all cooked in rapeseed oil.I then added 3 chopped tomatoes and 250ml of water and cooked for 5 minutes.
I then puréed the above mixture until a smooth consistency, then I added the diced mushrooms and reduced the sauce for 10 minutes. Et voila my take on mushroom bhaji!!!!
Once again the BFM shares the food love!!! Ciao for now
